Etsy update

The Etsy shop has sat unloved for quite some time.  I've finally garnered the mental space to update it and actually post a few things.  Here is the link ... and I'm going to leave it at that.  There's a new piece there.  I'm excited about it and would love for you to check it out.

Cheers!

Sprinkle Some Love in Your Corner

Ah.  We have officially passed the holiday season, life has begun the mid-winter rhythms.  How lovely then, that we mark a day for good old love in February.  By mid-January I start to look forward to Valentines Day.  Not because I'm overly sentimental or get real hyped up about flowers and teddy bears (although the chocolates? That's another story.  I'm very interested there).

I guess I love moving from January to February knowing that the promise of spring is out there despite the winter song we're singing right now.  And Valentine's Day is a chance to wake up from all that white and grey, throw on some pink and red, and remember how much we love those people standing around us.  And how much they love us.

And really, that's pretty great.  Red Love in the midst of Grey Winter. Celebrate it a little.

With that in mind, I have a few new pieces in the shop and two of them are particularly good this time of year.

The first is a revival of The Kindness Project.  If you need a refresher, these cards share a basic message of spreading kindness ... and passing that kindness on.  The reverse is a reminder that the littlest of actions has the potential to change the world.  The front is a new "Spread Kindness Quietly" design.  I have a limited amount in stock.  I'd love to get a dozen to you.

The second is a letterpress card.  Creating this card came from a place of wanting to reach past the "love and hugs" kind of card.  What is it that I want to - and don't often enough tell those around me? That they are special and what they are doing in their daily lives is making a difference.  So, here you go.

Take a look in the shop for both these items with the rest of the goods in my studio space.  Holler if I can help you spread some love and kindness.  Let's put some love in the air already.

Holiday Shop is ready!

I'm happy to say my holiday shop is ready to roll.  It's a small collection of a few things you've seen and a few new pieces - I hope you have a moment to look around.

On December 6, Pure Bliss Cupcakes in Pierre has graciously allowed me to spend the morning with  my holiday pieces.  I'll have gift tags, notebooks, notecards, and a small selection of repurposed holiday wood pieces, as well as a few other pieces from my studio space.  I would love to see you there! For me, as much as anything, it's an opportunity to talk about artwork and drink some delicious coffee with some great people.  I hope you can pop in to say hi!

In the meantime, here's a peek at what I've been working on.  And, as always, my heartfelt thanks for tagging along with me. I hope you can join me for coffee on the 6th!

Nope, not a holiday piece. But, I've been circling around this phrase for months.  It's so simple and yet, for me anyway, so easy to forget.  To truly be who you are and who you're called to be in every dimension of life.

This piece is an OLD piece of wood.  There is a weathered strap of leather on the bottom left that I used to tie baker's twine and small clothespins to.  It would be perfect for hanging small reminders, photos, spelling lists ....

A small selection of holiday pieces.  This year, simplicity was my goal. And winter berries, apparently.

This line from Heschel came to me from an artistic mentor's holiday card years back.  I found it so reassuring and focusing.

And finally, my first go at holiday gift cards.  2 of each design in a pack of 6.  I think my favorite is "For all the kindness you share - Cheers!" It's celebratory, multipurpose, and most importantly a reciprocation of kindness.  Plus it's got shimmer. Who can say no to shimmer? Seriously.

New Goodness!

Finally! I'm excited to share with you some new items here in my shop!  Several ideas and thoughts have been floating around for awhile and I'm really glad to finally have them here, in a solid form that can be touched and seen and, hopefully, passed along in kindness.  That's really the big rock behind all the new items: that there is goodness in the world and we're here to pass it along.

I hope you have a moment to check them out below; if you're interested in more details check out the shop tab and give me a holler!

New Season, New Things!

A new season is here!  The online studio has been quiet, but much has been happening in the physical studio.  A fall and holiday line of items is in the final stages of getting together, I have seriously neat new stamps and customizable stamps to share, the possibility of purchasing prints (in varied sizes!) is coming up, AND a small line of South Dakota items is in the works - depending on how the world like them.

There's something about fall - maybe it's my birth season, maybe it's the hunting, maybe the departure of lovely visitors or just the gosh darn beauty of South Dakota in the fall - whatever it is, there's something about it that makes me say, "Wow, South Dakota. You get me. Every time."

All of this to say, it's holiday and gathering time in the home state. Time to come home and remember why it's home and celebrate. I think that sums up pretty well all the latest pieces I have in the hopper.  I'll be posting them here and linking on Facebook - as well as showing them at The Alley Exchange in October.  I can't wait to share them.

Until then, happy fall.

The only constant is change.

Hi! So a few things have been happening and I'm itching to spill the beans.  First: a slight change in the blog name.  I'm now at mollynoemfulton.blogspot.com rather than molly fulton.  And this happened because ... I OPENED AN ETSY SHOP!

https://www.etsy.com/shop/MollyNFulton

Super excited, yes.  Apparently, however, there is more than one Molly Fulton in the world (I know! who knew?), so to distinguish this Molly from the loads of others I'm streamlining Facebook, blog, and etsy to Molly Noem Fulton.

Thanks for hanging in there with me.

The Etsy shop is fairly small right now - mostly because I'm still figuring out the quirks of loading up pieces - but it's there.

Also, I now accept PayPal which is pretty smart, if late on the ball, of me I must say.

And finally: check out the shop.  I have one new piece there that I'm pretty excited about. It has similar versions in wood and tin; this one is chalk.  In fact, I'm so ready to share I'll just post it right here ... if you're a fan of South Dakota, I hope it resonates with you as well.

And with that, enjoy these gorgeous days, some good coffee, and a back deck y'all.  Spread Kindness.

Molly
